I’m Sidney; a Toronto based performer & filmmaker.

I started as a dancer, performing in commercials and music videos, and quickly transitioned to acting, booking roles on TV series and films like iZombie, Bang Bang Baby and others. In 2015 I was introduced to the production side of filmmaking, working alongside singer/songwriter Drake as a producer while also acting & dancing in his short film Jungle. To follow this, I produced, wrote and acted in my first original work, (rough cut) -- a short film exploring sexual politics on set. The film premiered at TIFF, was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and screened at the MoMA NYC in association with The Future of Film is Female. In recent news… I produced air head, one of the first films to use OpenAI's text-to-video model Sora, and am currently producing the Telefilm Talent To Watch feature shylo (directed by creative collective shy kids). I’m also writing, directing & acting in my next original work, a short psychological thriller entitled, I Hate Babies. Stay tuned!
